It is lean and clean making this a great ingredient for our dogs to eat. It provides tons of protein, with almost 0 fat. Dogs need protein as a main energy source, and chicken provides that boost they need. Being that it is lean, it doesn’t have that big calorie count. Chicken builds lean muscle mass in dogs and delivers Omega 6 fatty acids that help sustain healthy skin and shiny coats.
Chicken liver is the second ingredient. Chicken liver contains a lot of high-quality proteins and amino acids, making it a great ingredient for dogs. Additionally, it’s a fantastic source of iron, zinc, copper, and vitamin B-complex. Its Omega-3 and Omega-6 components are what give your dog’s coat its silky, smooth texture.
